Student Projects - UFMG EBA
These are a sample of projects from my classes of Processing, Games II, and Interactive Digital Installations.
Processing (FTC 201) is offered as an introductory programming class to freshmen in their first semester. The goal is to get students comfortable with basic programming elements and computational thinking. These students had no prior programming experience.
Games II (FTC 218) is a course offered as part of the gaming concentration. The goal is to learn about more game specific algorithms (like collision detection and pathfinding) so that they have a better understanding of game engines. (Games I, is a game design, game history and critique).
Interactive Digital Art Installations (INU001) is a project based class for more advanced students with concentration in digital arts. It is studio-based course, in which students propose and develop their own ideas. It can involve a wide variety of interactive technologies.
